Ouachita Farm Agent Leavng to Join Mortgage Securities
Ouachita parish agricultural agent B. M. Jackson resigns effective January 1 to join Mortgage Securities Company of New Orleans as appraiser and representative in the Monroe trade territory. He will oversee fifteen to twenty parishes, based in Monroe with extensive road travel in North and Central Louisiana. Jackson has served since 1916 after coming from Clemson College and is regarded as an efficient farm agent with strong farm finance insights. His Monroe successor is yet to be named by the state department of agriculture.

Captain Erskine Leads Guard of Honor to Arlington
