In Rapides parish the liquor prohibition election is too close to call after 21 of 26 boxes reported. Prohibition 1,289. against 1,340, with 51 votes against leading. Remaining five precincts in remote areas could sway the outcome. Alexandria totals 294 dry and 841 wet. Nearby towns show mixed results.
