Oklahoma City, Nov. 16. Defense counsel in Governor Walton impeachment says it will travel to Atlanta to obtain Oklahoma Ku Klux Klan records if a subpoena for N. C. Jewett fails. Jewett must appear with all state Klan records including full membership list. subpoena not yet served.
The senate court of impeachment delved further today into the pardon record of Walton as part of executive impeachment proceedings in Oklahoma City. Continued on page three.
In Paris Premier Poincare accused Britain of siding with Germany over the Ruhr dispute and asserted France sought reparations. He cited Bonar Law and claimed Ruhr occupation costs and assets yielded a significant net profit for the Allies, framing the issue as a test of entente cohesion.
In Kelliher Minnesota a 35 year old Leonard Portano killed four people including John and Myrtle Sanders at two sites. He fled into the north woods as a posse formed at dawn to hunt him. Portano left a signed confession at a timber plant before disappearing.
