Three year old William Frank Green, son of a Monroe fireman, lies in critical condition after being hit by a Gresham Mattress Co. truck driven by Emmet Jackson at Stone Avenue and South Fourth Street at 10 a.m. The accident left a base skull fracture as Officer Ed Harper reports. Jackson is jailed on reckless driving charges. Aubrey Takewell was the sole witness.
Senator Joseph I. Robinson of Arkansas arrives at Lake Charles with friends for a few days of duck hunting and rest after his campaign. Also present are Will Shepherd, Joe House, and K. T.
