Orleanian organizes a large central rally at Alex mad Twentieth Tonight in Rapides Parish with Michel leading the event expected to draw local supporters and officials.
Hon John T Michel and party completed a three day Avoyelles Parish tour visiting nine towns. He spoke at Moreauville Cottonport Marksville Mansura Plancheville and other centers noting large attendance and strong local backing. Plancheville and Mansura drew 600 plus listeners with Plancheville described as the largest voting precinct in the parish.
Congressman H Garland Dupre rebutted John M Parker at a Good Government League event on Arabella Street. The crowd packed two rooms as Dupre called Parker’s claim he was under contract to deliver the Fourteenth Ward a falsehood. Dupre stated his only aim is backing John T Michel for governor and serving the state with credit.
New Orleans November 15 Paul A Sompayrac attacks Judge Hall and the Good Government League over alleged Mississippi requisition ties admitting no apology. He says the campaign uses open disclosure and denounces opponents while predicting a counterattack from Hall's supporters as a staged bomb.
