Two Louisiana men on a duck hunting trip were found alive by the Coast Guard off Pelican Island after an open boat ran aground in the Intracoastal Canal. Dr. Thomas C. Davis of Donaldsonville and E. Two 17 year old high school students a Negro boy and a white girl were sentenced for delinquency after admitting sex and drinking activities. James Bowie was sent to six months on the state penal farm and Barbara Baker to the Indiana Girls' School for an indeterminate term.
