Monroes Armistice Day ceremony will honor unknown dead with 11 bells at 11 am and a three minute moment of silence. Scouts in uniform will direct crowds and flag etiquette as Mayors Bernstein and Kirkpatrick issue proclamations. Fire bells signal the start and end of the observance.
