Mild cold front ends stormy week with damage reports
A mild cold front moved into Northeast Louisiana around 8 a.m. ending a week of severe weather that produced tornadic winds last night. No injuries were reported. Rain totals for the week reached 3.41 inches with 1.90 inches yesterday. Power failures and flood-streaked streets were noted in Ouachita Union Morehouse Franklin LaSalle and Lincoln Parishes with several homes roofs and trees damaged or blown over and roads blocked especially near Winnsboro Bas Trop Grambling and Jena. Temperature to fall to 40 to 45 tonight then rise to about 65 tomorrow.
