The forty second annual Louisiana Women’s Christian Temperance Union convened for a two day session at West Monroe Methodist Church starting 10 a.m. with delegates from Alexandria Amite Baton Rouge Eunice Ruston Shreveport and other towns. Mrs A C McKinney of Ruston presided. After flag and prayer ceremonies, Mrs R C Russell was chosen recording secretary amid roll call and committee appointments.
