Burglaries Probed Across West Monroe Area
Police report three weekend burglaries under investigation by local agencies. A sheriff deputy found Sanders Truck Leasing at 596 Jonesboro Road broke into with about 106 dollars missing. A second Jonesboro Road burglary involved Sam's Place with two cases of beer and liquor stolen. Monroe Housing Authority at 424 Matthew Street reported only keys missing. A West Monroe man from Leesville was arrested on forgery charges, and a missing artificial left leg was found near Neville High School stadium with owner to claim it at the city police station.
