A prosecutor dropped the charge of tampering in a case described as an in and out affair. The withdrawal followed initial accusations and counterclaims, leaving the defendants asserting innocence and officials weighing further action.
A warrant for the arrest of Harry F. Sinclair, issued for conspiracy to tamper with the Teapot Dome jury, was revoked an hour and a half after sworn out by order of District Attorney Gordon, who said the warrant had been issued in error.
