Man Arrested Here Believed One of Homer Jail Escapees
A man using the name W. H. Ehlinger was jailed in Monroe by Detective L. V. Tarver on suspicion of being among five Homer jail escapees from two or three days earlier. Homer Sheriff Coleman ordered him held for identification. The captured man refused to talk and appeared to have been sleeping rough without food, with clothes torn by brambles.
