Rites Tuesday For Dr. Mott Died Early Today
Funeral services are set for Dr. George Marshall Mott a 63 year old Monroe dentist who died from a heart attack at his home on Auburn Avenue. The burial will follow in Oak Ridge cemetery with Mulhearn Funeral Home directing. Dr. Mott practiced in Monroe since 1928 and retired in 1962. He attended Oak Ridge public schools Louisiana Tech Mississippi College LSU and Atlanta Southern Dental College class of 1927. He belonged to Psi Omega Sigma Alpha Epsilon Oak Ridge Masonic Lodge and the state and national dental associations. He is survived by his widow Hopie Ross Mott a son Marshall Conrad Mott two brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be nephews and honorary pallbearers will be Fifth District Dental Association members.
