Governor C H Simpson and running mate Dr F C Pavy with several associates toured Ruston on Friday. They met supporters at Hotel Sheppard and ate a special luncheon before continuing to Elmo Clay Ansley Quitman Jonesboro Chatham and Eros on route to Monroe. The governor announced plans to return to Ruston for a later speech.
