West Monroe Man Attemps Death By Self Inflicted Shot
Morgan Dick Tullos Everitt of West Monroe tried to end his life by shooting himself in the chest at the Highway Rooming House on Cypress Street. He was taken to St Francis Sanitarium in undetermined condition after the 12 pm incident. A passing mechanic heard him struggle and alerted authorities. the bullet passed through his chest and shattered a window. Everitt told police he was tired of living and used a .45 caliber automatic pistol.
