Crash Kills Driver At Rayville
A sports car crashed head on with a trailer-truck near Rayville killing the auto driver Mason Henry McEnery Jr. 20 and leaving passenger Carolyn Avant 17 in critical condition. McEnery was a Northeast State College student from Oak Ridge. The truck driver, Daniel R. Terry 37 of Lubbock Texas, was uninjured. Funeral services for McEnery were planned for Friday at New Salem Cemetery Gerard with local priests officiating.
