Duelists Die in Armory Gun Battle
In Amory Mississippi last night a street pistol duel left two railroad workers dead. Locomotive engineer Smith Willis shot flagman C M Tyler who then returned fire and killed Willis. Tyler died early today. Willis lived in Memphis Tennessee aged 34, Tyler in Birmingham Alabama aged 30. Both men had resided in Amory for several months amid long standing ill will.

Montreal May 19 The sixty third general assembly of the Southern Presbyterian Church heard a report lamenting the morale of the average American home as jazz ridden. It cites rising divorce rates across states with Arkansas 217 Texas 198 and Oklahoma 158 per 100 000 population and calls for Jesus Christ as the home.
