Gasser Flames From Well After Lightning Strike
The St Louis well of LaDel Oil Properties was struck by lightning and has burned for over a month. Fire teams from Sid Simmons Drilling plan to use steam if water fails to extinguish the blaze. The gasser shoots flames twenty-five to seventy-five feet high with a ten foot halo around the pipe and may require mud or concrete to curb flames outside the main jet.
