Monument to Ferris Kalil Erected in Monroe Catholic Cemetery
The Monroe Marble & Granite Works completed a simple soldier's monument in the Catholic cemetery for Ferris N. Kalil who died in November 1921. The seven foot two inch stone features Kalil's name, a shaft with eagle and shield, twelve stars, and three urns with flowers, honoring a WWI ex-service man.
