Pythian Fund Is Dissolved and Alexandria Selected
The Grand Lodge of the Knights of Pythias adjourned in Baton Rouge on May 17 naming Alexandria as the next meeting site. A. W. Brown was chosen Grand Chancellor. Howard Lytle Supreme Representative. tax for the Pythian fund repealed and refunds promised. Shreveport won the $200 drill prize. next year prize rises to $300. Pythian Sisters elected officers led by Mrs Abbie Gamble. next meeting also set for Alexandria.

Natatorium To Be Drained Tonight For Concrete Work
Salt water natatorium will be drained after 10 PM and workers will start cutting concrete tomorrow morning to complete necessary repairs.
Natatorium to Close for Week During Addition Work
The center wall opens to a 24 foot cut in the wall and a low arch walk will be built over the opening. A sand floor will be installed while the natatorium is empty. It will be out of commission about one week as a big crowd plans to use it tonight for the last time in that period.
