A separate family court bill faces withdrawal as support falters. The Ouachita and Morehouse groups also push a water district for the Bartholomew area to enable pumping into Bayou DeSiard. Sen. Truck And House Lose In Collision In Dallas Suburb
A moving house and a cattle truck collided in a Dallas suburb on Tuesday. Mr and Mrs W H Craker were relocating a house to replace one destroyed by fire. The truck carried 30 cattle to a Dallas slaughter pen. the driver escaped injury while the cattle stayed on the trailer. Damage to both the truck and house was about 1400 dollars.

Negro Admits Knife Murder in Shreveport
An 18 year old African American man told police that his conscience drove him to kill a woman in Caddo Parish near Shreveport. The suspect confessed to the knife murder and explained his motive as mental distress. Authorities continued to question him as the investigation proceeds.
