In Utica New York Apollo reporter notes 18 year old Dorothy Berrus saved a boy from a charging bull on a family farm. They fell 100 feet into a rocky ravine while fleeing. Berrus died from injuries and the boy Charles Di Giorgia Jr. survived with non life threatening injuries.
A helicopter with three American crewmen disappeared on Monday while flying from Pa Dong to Vientiane amid rugged terrain partly held by Pathet Lao rebels. The Mir America crew was conducting audit operations for the Western-backed Lao government.
The State Department says no Americans were reported injured in South Korea's revolt. A spokesman offered no further comment and said the information is being studied. Officials had only what was seen in news dispatches and from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.
