Monroe city commissioners convened a special session led by Mayor Arnold Bernstein to reorganize city offices effective 1919. Officers elected include Hector Poag as City Secretary-Treasurer and Tax Collector, Miss Estelle Adams as stenographer, Harry H. Russell as City Attorney, Walter Kipkoat as Engineer, R Heap as Inspector of Police, and R W Faulk as City Physician. Salaries set and several positions reorganized or abolished.
