City Seeks Long Range Planning Meeting

Monroe Mayor W L Howard urged official cooperation on a five year plan. He asked the Monroe Chamber of Commerce to organize a meeting with city parish police jury and chamber leaders to discuss mutual problems and future planning. Ward 3 and 19 officials favored the proposal, with several names cited as supportive. Ward 14 jurors said they had not been contacted.
