In Cape Canaveral Florida AP reports a rocket launch attempt that failed to reach orbit still produced a spectacular display. The fiery vapor trail appeared for about ten minutes as dawn broke, while the sunrise highlighted the ionized path left by the rocket despite unsuitable weather.
