Delta Point agent assassinated at Delta Point
Delta Point on the Vicksburg Shreveport and Pacific road train scene. Night operator J T Clemenger was shot in the back through a window about 3 30 this morning. Sheriff J P Parker Jr. sent bloodhounds to Delta Point to trail the killer. Two negroes were arrested but no direct link established. Clemenger had been at Delta Point only a few days and previously worked there years ago. Two motives offered robbery or enemy from past service.
