Patterson New Jersey May 9 Three Atlas Powder Company buildings at Lake Hopatcong north of here reportedly blew up this afternoon. Between fifty and a hundred men are feared dead in the blast with emergency crews rushing to the scene.
New York May 9 Associated Press says Robert Fay the ex German lieutenant convicted yesterday of conspiring to destroy the allies munition ships was sentenced to eight years in the federal penitentiary Walter Scholz received four years and Paul Daeche two years

Reverend H E Rowman recently ordained in Chicago is the groom in a pretty Knoxville wedding. Miss Gertrude Butterfield of Knoxville is the bride. The young preacher will take his bride to Chicago to become assistant pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church.
St Francis Sanitary and Training School for Nurses holds commencement for the senior class Tuesday May 6 at 7 50 pm in City School Auditorium. Graduates are Miss Nettie Mullin Miss Sybil Renaud Mrs Elizabeth Ansley and Sister Henrietta Dedisse.
