James Metivlce, colored, shot his wife and killed boarder Richard Wright in a double affray at the Plant of Soul Werner company near Monroe. McGehee, a mill employee, returned home to find the violence, then fired on Wright as he slept, wounding his wife. The 38 special pistol was used.
