Man Hurt When Street Car and Auto Crash
Joe Bailey twenty four was injured shortly after 2 pm when his automobile collided with a Riverside street car at Fifth street and Stone avenue. He was rushed to St. Francis Sanitarium with injuries not yet determined. The street car was knocked from tracks. Bailey was hurled to the pavement. Firemen J W Welch and Harry Recoullay carried him to the sanitarium. Conductor E E Logan and two passengers escaped injury. Bailey worked for the Dixie Roofing company.
