Jena March 29 A local field worker Tom Bell aged 50 was shot and died instantly at the LaSalle lab at 6 last night Coroner F Hamilton reports a coroner's jury found Bell's death a murder naming Rey Bradford as the man believed guilty Bradford is at large and authorities will seek his arrest The inquest listed J N Gray Amos Warner A Gibson L L Hooter and W H op as jurors Bradford previously faced charges in a Tullos case and was acquitted of slaughter in that matter The grand jury is reviewing the case in Jena
In Detroit March 29 Aaron Sapiro testified about claimed financial damage from articles in Henry Ford’s weekly Dearborn Independent. The court adjourned for luncheon as defense sought to subpoena Sapiro records from California and Chicago, delaying the record.

In Macon Georgia the so called baby bandit Bradley McIntosh alias George Hall 17 and two accomplices Jack Kenton alias Kelley of Toledo Ohio and Bernard Shrayer of New York were jailed on charges tied to the March 16 slaying of broker E B Hogan during an attempted hold up. Hogan's companion Eva Tanner 17 was released after nine days in custody. The trio confessed and a grand jury is to convene April 4. Keaton said Hall fired the fatal shot accidentally during a struggle for the gun. Hall earned the nickname in Miami two years earlier while working with a woman.
Clarence Allen of Anderson South Carolina a Jersey City IL recruit pitcher lay in a Greenville hospital with multiple knife wounds after a fight near Graham Field preceding an exhibition game between the Greenville Spinners and the Jersey club. J R Peden 45 and his son Boyd 18 were jailed without bond over the incident.

The Twin Cities Little Theatre movement holds its formal organizational meeting tonight at eight at the Jewish Temple annex. Mrs Minnie Ruffin, president of Monroe Dramatic club, presides and outlines constitution and by laws. A large attendance is hoped as the group plans to bring the play The Cajun to the city soon as the first dramatic effort.
