Boy Killed By Freight Train At Local Yard
The body of 13 year old Billy Ralph Hart was found early Tuesday at the Missouri Pacific freight yard. Coroner Dr. J T French said the youth was killed when 10 freight cars ran over him. Hart, son of Mr and Mrs O L Hart of 519 Mississippi, died about 6 30 p m Monday. His body was found at 1 30 a m Tuesday by his brother Charles 18 and cousin Robert Dozier 19. He was a seventh grade student at O P G. schools and had good grades. Funeral services were set for 2 p m Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.

MacArthur Stops 6 Death Sentences for War Crimals
Tokyo March 28 General MacArthur commuted the death sentences of six Japanese war criminals who murdered three US Navy fliers in 1945.
