Father of 11 kills wife then kills self in police trap

Armored car heist nets about $60000 in Danvers

Gunmen escaped with roughly $600000 after stopping the United States Trucking Corp vehicle on Maple Street in Danvers. The driver Lawrence Johansen said loot came from various North Shore banks as the trio fled in a black 1950 Buick toward Peabody. Judgment Upheld in Jasper County Electrocution Case

The Mississippi Supreme Court upheld a $15,000 judgment against Southern Pine Electric Power Association for the electrocution of E J Stringer and his wife after an uninsulated line hung near a well on Stringer’s Jasper County farm. Fire kills at least six in six-story Skid Row hotel

AP reports a fast moving blaze at the St. George Hotel on East Third Street in Los Angeles killed six men and injured several others.
