An American steamer named Healdton was torpedoed with 14 believed dead. One badly injured crewman was brought to Terschelling, with seven crew rescued by boat. Amsterdam dispatch confirms sinking per Central News and Reuters.
The Healdton a Standard Oil steamer torpedoed off Terschelling Holland with no warning. Twenty crew members drowned and one died of injuries.
