Last of Maine Heroes Laid to Rest at Arlington
The last of the Maine battle dead, sixty four sailors, were laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery with full honors in Washington. President Taft suspended government business by executive order as cabinet members and top military and naval officers attended, and Congress adjourned with flags at half mast.
