Man Perishes In Apartment Blaze Here
A 21 year old Monroe resident Willie Kelly of 703 Marx St. Monroe died in an early morning apartment fire. Neighbor James Cooper raised the alarm around 12 50 a.m. and fire crews found the body. Funeral services were planned for 2 30 p.m. at Burton's Funeral Home with burial in City Cemetery.
