Florida Man Held in Slayings of Wife and Mother-in-law
Jacksonville March 6 A man identified as M C Powell is charged with murdering his wife 44 and her 65 year old mother in law after their bodies were found in a Nassau county creek. Powell 49 reported the women missing after they left for a movie. Fishermen found the bodies with abdomen wounds and a gag in Mrs Speers mouth. Powell previously jailed in Florida and Alabama.
