Grenville man arrested on concealed pistol charge

Thomas Edward Johnson, 23, of Grenville, Mississippi, was arrested by Monroe police at a local bus station shortly after 3 a.m. Friday and charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He is jailed in default of a $300 bond. Oyster eggs, once fertilized, become free swimming larvae and grow thin shells within 24 hours.
