Selman Field Pool Opens to Public Daily

The Selman Field swimming pool is open to the public from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily with two lifeguards on duty and adequate concessions. The Optimist Club sponsors operations and a wading pool is available for youngsters. no admission charge is listed.

Monroe Sururety Council members did not attend a meeting aimed at launching a courteous driving campaign. Paul Vaney, the chairman, said a regular monthly session will be held next Tuesday. The July meeting will be moved to Tuesday due to July 4.
