Winnsboro Hotel Proprietor Dies in Personal Crisis
Winnsboro June 28 Special. H M Smith 31 proprietor of the Winnsboro Hotel died at noon today after apparently taking poison yesterday morning in a personal crisis. Financial difficulties are believed to have driven the act. Smith had operated the local hotel for four to five years and previously worked in hotels in Louisiana and Arkansas. He is survived by his wife with no children.
