Billy Graham draws huge crowd in Germany crusade
In Merneberg Germany evangelist Billy Graham spoke to about 65 000 to 69 000 people at a revival. Police estimated the crowd with roughly 9 000 U S servicemen and families in attendance. After his sermon about 6 000 people including 1 260 Americans moved forward to decide for Christ. He indicated plans for a Crusade for Christ in New York City but said scheduling before 1957 is unlikely.
