Robbery at Loreco Filling Station in Ruston
Special to The News-Star in Ruston reports the Loreco filling station run by J. W. Richardson was robbed of the day’s cash sales over $100. A white male about 40, in rough clothes and sun tanned, entered about 10 pm after waiting two hours, forced the three in the office to surrender, then fled with the cash. Deputy Sheriff Clyde Frazier and others searched for the gunman but found no clues.
