Washington debates the Canadian reciprocity bill and the Root amendment as senators clash over tariff revisions. Wilburton Oklahoma June 27 Dr B Alexander a dentist formerly from Damon neighborhood was returned from Pawhuska by Sheriff Lawrence after being arrested there Tuesday charged with embezzling a set of false teeth and $20 given by Mrs John McGee for her teeth.
Hon John T Michel gubernatorial candidate arrived from New Orleans aboard the Iron Mountain and will stay through Wednesday morning in Monroe to tour north Louisiana parishes. The visit marks his first to Monroe in some time as he plans further stops along the Vicksburg Shreveport and Pacific line.
A visitor noted apparent progressiveness in the city and expressed delight at what he had seen. His chief comment highlighted the forward movement and optimistic outlook of local developments.

The Royal Arch Chapter will meet at 8 o clock in the Masonic Halls to confer the Royal Arch degree on a team. A lunch will be served after the work. Visitors are cordially invited.
