Spaniard Arrested in Vatican St Peter's Bombing Case

A bomb exploded at St Peter's portico injuring four pilgrims amid tense Vatican Spain strains. Demetrio Solamon, born in Alexandria and holding a Spanish passport, was arrested after a Fascist officer recovered his water soaked passport from a fountain. Police say Solamon planted the device.

Episcopalian Leader Calls for 18th Amendment Repeal

She recalls being born on the Jim Bell place Miss Christmas Day 113 years ago and being sold for 1010. She laughs about beating them with a dishrag and says she is glad to have seen all the children again.

Cotton acreage retirement program outlined to farmers

Several hundred farmers met Monday to hear the government plan for cotton acreage retirement. The meeting overflowed the district courtroom and moved to the central grammar school auditorium.
