Isaac Mason Worthington 66 of Eudora Ark died Thursday in Greenville Mississippi. Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Eudora Baptist Church with Rev Homer Bradley and Rev L J Ready officiating. Interment in Mt Carmel Cemetery under Gay's Funeral Home direction. Survived by wife Lois, son Isaac M Worthington Jr, sister Mrs S M Spencer. Worthington was a rural carrier in Eudora for 3 years and a World War I veteran.
The Concordia Parish Farm Bureau voted to incorporate and file articles by July to better serve local farmers. Delegates W. E. Person Doyle Spell and S. D. Medunkin were named to the state convention in Shreveport July 14 to 18. Officers elected for the year are W. O. Person president D. L. Nelson vice president and S. D. Medunkin secretary treasurer.
Two Monroe youths aged 13 and younger confessed to break ins at a service station a nightclub and a home plus attempted burglary of another service station. Sgt J C Kelly said the pair also admitted petty thefts including at the Swayze Natatorium. Major John Whitfield noted the case closed quickly and that officers found toy pistols on the youths.
