Hudson and Essex car shipments surge in May record
The Hudson Motor Car Company shipped 42 086 Hudson and Essex cars in May, the largest May total in company history, up from 22 459 a year earlier. Through June 1, five months total reached 184 570, exceeding last year’s pace as orders for June already exceed production, targeting about 129 000 cars for the quarter.
