Emile Jack DuCote 51 chief clerk of the U S Army Engineers Vicksburg District died today after a long illness in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 4 p m Friday from First Baptist Church West Monroe with Dr Clifton R Tennison officiating. Burial in Hasley Cemetery under Kilpatrick Funeral Home. He lived at 2606 North 11th Street West Monroe. He had 20 years with the engineers and was active in civic and church work. Survivors include his widow Marjorie Buce DuCote a son Bill two sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers listed and deacons as honorary pallbearers.
