Officers are warned that failure to carry out executions will itself incur the punishment of the responsible officers without recourse to higher authority.

Mrs. Walter Stokes and Alex Flynn were bitten June 15 by a stray dog showing signs of hydrophobia. The dog was killed and its head sent to the Pasteur Institute in New Orleans. Dr. Armando McHenry received word that the dog had rabies and advised those bitten to seek treatment in New Orleans. Flynn will depart tonight for New Orleans and Mrs. Stokes, recently ill, will likely leave soon.
