Monroe Recreation opens playground season at four school sites
The Monroe Recreation department launched the summer program at Lida Benton Barkdall Faulk Georgia Tucker and Sherrouse schools with daily sessions 9 to 1130 a.m. five days a week except weekends. The 1700 South Grand Street center operates 1 to 9 p.m. through Thursday and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Monday features 27 softball teams with six more Tuesday. Boys play daily and girls Wednesday at Neville stadium. July Fourth field day at Neville stadium planned with races. Coach Bill Ruple of Neville assists the department.

LSU Extension Classes Set At Northeast Junior College
