Mysterious highway shooting near New Orleans injures man
James J. Johnson a 36 year old electrician from Carrollton Mississippi was shot in the head on a highway north of New Orleans while driving to Baton Rouge. He was found near Destrahan in St. Charles Parish by passing motorists and taken to Charity Hospital in New Orleans in unknown condition. A second car fled the scene.
