The funeral of Mrs. D. A. Bradford a longtime Monroe social civic and church figure was held at Peters Funeral Home Wednesday at 4 p.m. Burial followed in Riverview Burial Park. She had endured declining health and death occurred late Tuesday night. She came to Monroe in 1912 from Michigan with her husband the late D. A. Bradford who worked in lumber operations. Survived by two daughters Mrs. Travis Oliver and Miss Eve Bradford including grandchildren Travis Oliver Jr and Midshipman Daniel Bradford. Pallbearers listed Meyer Greenwald John M Breard Jr Arthur J Dryburgh Carl McHenry H W McSherry Edwin Theus Joe R Goyne Joe S Washburn.
